“Your client does not support opening this list with Windows Explorer”
This error can be received for many reasons, and sometimes no reason at all. Below are several troubleshooting steps which can be taken in an attempt to resolve this issue. After completing the steps in teach fix, retry the  button.

In some instances, when you click the  action will give an error on the first attempt, but will work the second time. Simply try clicking the  button again and confirm whether it opens or not.

B.     Restart WebClient Service

b)       Enter ‘services.msc’

Windows 7: Internet Explorer 10 is not yet compatible with the  feature. You will need to revert to Internet Explorer 9.
Windows 8: Internet Explorer 10 is compatible, so you should not have an issue with this OS and browser version combination.

How he could migrate only a list from SharePoint 2010 to SharePoint 2013 by keeping the data in it. I tried a quick Google, and nothing came up. I tried to export the list into a .cmp file, and import it into SharePoint 2013, but I got this Error. Importing SharePoint 2010 Files is not supported in SharePoint 2013.

Sending alerts to a group - My solution

- In Active Directory create a user called "LISTA-Notifs", give him
an Exchange mailbox.

- Next, in Active Directory create a distribution list called "LISTA-
Distribution" (Mail enabled group)

- Next, on the "LISTA-Notifs" user object in AD, under Exchange
General->Delivery Options and set a "Forwarding address" to forward
all messages sent to this user (LISTA-Notifs) to the distribution
list "LISTA-Distribution"

- Next, add all the 'real' user accounts to the LISTA-Distribution
list.

- In sharepoint, when you configure your alert, just configure it to
send to the "LISTA-Notifs" user.

essentially, what this will do is just use a user object to send all
the alerts to, but that user object is configured to forward to
another email account which is your distribution list.
